The Seehütte Seehaus - Lake Neusiedl vacation right on the water in the middle of the reeds.
Take off your shoes, feel the warmth of the wooden jetty and listen to the sound of the reeds: Welcome to the "Seehaus" lakeside hut. The somewhat different kind of vacation from everyday life. Surrounded by reeds and water, the Seehütte is located in the middle of Lake Neusiedl and yet is only a 10-minute walk from Rust.
The Rust am Neusiedlersee accommodation is located in Burgenland and can be reached via a wooden jetty (dry foot without a boat). The reed-covered lake hut is about 38 m² in size and stands on a wooden plateau of about 100 m² directly in the water of Lake Neusiedl. All in all, the "Seehaus" is can be booked for a maximum of 4 people, whereby the space is limited by the tent shape of the roof. However, life mostly takes place outdoors anyway. The chalet on the lake belongs exclusively to you and is very private due to its location in the reeds and virtually invisible.
The lakeside hut on Lake Neusiedl has a separate bedroom at ground level with a double bed (135 x 190 cm). The other double bed (180 x 200 cm) with mattresses (for space reasons there is no complete bed with legs and main bed) is romantically located directly under the roof of the hut and can be reached via a ladder. The beds in the upper area are not recommended for people with limited mobility. Alternatively, there is a sofa bed that we can make up for you instead of the upper bed at the customer's request.

Air conditioning for cooling and heating, a small kitchen, dishwasher, fridge and a Nespresso machine are available. WC with washbasin are located in the hut. The bathroom with shower and washbasin is located in a separate "bath house". In a small workshop, where you can also store the cushions in bad weather, you will also find another fridge. Although our accommodation in Rust am Neusiedlersee is certainly one of the most luxuriously equipped lake huts on the entire lake, the Seehütte is not a luxury hotel in the conventional sense, but rather a lake house - a so-called pile dwelling - on the water. Please note that, despite everything, life in a lake hut is more reminiscent of a sailing or camping vacation and the space available in the hut is limited.
Anyone who books a vacation like this is consciously booking something reduced and simple rather than a luxury vacation. The furnishings of the Seehütte "Seehaus" are made of solid wood and come from carpenters from Burgenland and the region.
Air conditioning, private jetty with sun island and your own boat
A boat is moored in front of the terrace of the accommodation in Rust am Neusiedlersee, which we are happy to make available to you during your stay. Please note, however, that if it is not possible to use the boat (e.g. because it cannot be used for technical reasons), no refund will be made for the unused boat. An elegant and comfortable double sun island with cozy, thick cushions provide a beach house feeling.
