Fishing card and license – you need that
To fish on the Neusiedler See, you need a valid official fishing card (annual fishing card or fishing guest card) as well as a license from the ARGE Neusiedler See Fishing Association. You can find daily, weekly and annual licenses as well as the current fishing regulations on www.fischen-am-see.at. Children under 14 years old are only allowed to fish accompanied by and under the supervision of an adult with a valid fishing license. Please make sure to inform yourself well before your arrival so that your fishing experience does not get interrupted.
